• Walk through Staulanza Pass and Città di Fiume Refuge

Unspoilt nature at only a few kilometres from the main lines of communication, large areas where roe-bucks and deer can roam in peace, woods and meadows which are overshadowed by the elegant Dolomites: Zoldo is a beautiful valley, still quite wild, a small untouched corner in the heart of the Dolomites.
During summer the valley becomes a charming destination for high altitude excursions, on Pelmo, Civetta or on the Moiazza group. Among the many possible destinations is the ascent to the base of Pelmetto where you can see Dinosaur footprints dating back 250 million years.
Other important evidence of the prehistoric era is represented by the “Uomo di Mondeval” from the Mesolithic period and today is preserved in the Museo Civico di Selva di Cadore.
